This facial treatment rebalances, purifies, and reduces skin shine. Suitable for combination to oily skin, this face cream regulates excess sebum, tightens the pores of the epidermis, and refines skin texture. Formulated with naturally derived ingredients, the Mattifying Fluid hydrates and evens out the complexion. It comes in a refillable jar format.

A natural facial treatment for combination to oily skin

Oily skin tends to shine all over the face and may develop imperfections. For combination skin, shine appears on the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin).
Pollution aggravates these conditions by clogging pores with impurities, which can accelerate skin aging by weakening the epidermis. Formulated with Mothers Waters, Green Samphire, and Guérande Salt, the Mattifying Fluid is an organic purifying, hydrating, and mattifying treatment that regulates excess sebum and protects against pollution particles thanks to its anti-pollution active ingredient. It tightens dilated pores and refines skin texture, for immediate comfort, a clear complexion, and an even skin tone.

A refillable mattifying fluid

This face cream comes in a refillable jar. Since 2024, we have been offering our creams in a refillable format. Once your first jar is empty, you only need to purchase the refill. This allows for a 94% reduction in plastic consumption with each refill purchase.

A daily facial care routine

Guérande Cosmétiques’ tips for purified and mattified skin:
1- Cleanse your face morning and evening with the Purifying Cleansing Gel to remove impurities and excess sebum without drying out the skin.
2- Use the Neosérum with Mothers Waters, an organic facial serum, ideal as a base treatment to support the skin’s natural balance and boost cellular vitality.
3- If needed, apply the anti-blemish serum locally.
4- Apply the Mattifying Fluid daily to the face and neck.

Mother-Waters : Mother-Waters, come from the Guérande salt marshes and are a result of movements, heat and wind, concentrate mineral salt and trace elements. There are 8 to 10 times richer in minerals than sea water. Mother-Waters, these waters have a natural source of cellular energy, with regenerative, restorative and soothing properties (1).

Green Salicornia : Organic plant, manually harvested in the salt marshes from may to the end of july, the green salicornia is rich in amino acids known to promote the maintaining of hydration.
guerande-salt
Guérande salt : Hand-picked, in the respect of seasonality, to preserve and guarantee its quality, the Guerande salt is naturally rich in mineral salts and trace elements, it allows to purify and to gently exfoliate the skin.
zinc-pca
Zinc PCA : This active ingredient is made up of zinc and of L-PCA, PCA Pyrrolidone Carboxylic acid. Zinc is a trace element which is naturally present in the cells of the epidemris and which limits the sebum excess. The L-PCA allows a better assimilation of zinc by the skin.
oligosaccharide
Anti-pollution active ingredient : This active ingredient is an oligosaccharide extracted from brown algae which protects the skin from fine particles of pollution (PM 2,5) but it's also going to protect the skin from pollutions such as cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes and free radicals.
